About Us

Who are we? Who am I? Tom Stukel is Ella Studios. I created Ella Studios to foster a passion and a drive to create...not only for myself, but for all of the needs I saw around me. Ella Studios has evolved in its five year history to encompass photography, graphic design, and web design. I feel the need to explore all of these areas to make me a stronger photographer, artist, and designer. My brain and body loves to be immersed in the creative arena, so why not mix and match a little. After all it's not work if you love what you do.

Why is it called Ella Studios if your name is Tom?

I was hoping you'd ask. You can thank the little puppy in the photo above (lower left, in case you have trouble spotting her). I know what you're thinking—Who names their company after a dog? Well, I did and it's worked out well so far. Ella, the dog, sort of embodied the spirit of the business I wanted to create—Always enthusiastic, endless energy, loyalty, eagerness to please, and mix that all with a little mischievousness and you have a good idea what Ella Studios will bring to the table for your photo shoot or design project.

Why should you choose to work with Ella Studios?

Do you like to have fun? I do, and if you like all the qualities of my dog, well than the only question I have for you is—Who do you think raised her and taught her all those life lessons? I do this work because I love it and every day is different from the last. Whether it's shooting a portrait of a new born baby, helping a company find its brand, or creating global headquarters for clients by giving them a presence on the web—Every client I meet has unique needs and ideas, and there is something about bringing someone's ideas and concepts to life that is so rewarding. I would love the opportunity to talk about your dream wedding photos or that brochure you've always wanted but never put together for your business.
